Since its launch in 2020, the Polestar 2 has undergone several evolutions. The 2025 model is no exception with some minor range upgrades and improvements for autonomy.

With an expansion in its distribution on the horizon, Polestar announces a new Polestar 2. The term “new” is perhaps misleading, as are the supposed stylistic changes. In this regard, the model has already slightly evolved a few months ago and an entirely new vehicle is expected for 2027.

For its entry into the 2025 model year, it is content with small changes in colors and materials, both on the exterior and interior. The exterior program includes new shades (Magnesium and Storm) and new 19 or 20-inch wheels.

As for the interior, the new carbon Nappa leather upholstery is certified in terms of animal welfare, while a seatbelt adorned with a yellow border makes its appearance. The manufacturer emphasizes that this color is that of the Swedish flag… This concludes the design evolutions, complemented by a new strategy of packages and options aligned with those of the Polestar 3 and 4.

The main evolution concerns autonomy. The Standard Range version receives a new battery supplied by CATL. Its capacity only increases by a small kilowatt-hour, a total of 70, but autonomy increases from 518 to 554 km in the WLTP cycle. For long-distance travelers, the Long Range propulsion version is optimized and now offers 659 km of autonomy (635 for the previous version).

We now await the details of the brand’s deployment in France.
