Citroën is sending 500 units of its new ë-C3 as an electric fleet. The electric city cars will be used by a personal transport company.

Citroën has signed a memorandum of understanding with Refex Green Mobility. This includes the supply of 500 units of the ë-C3 in India. The local company plans to add these electric city cars to its fleet under its brand Refex eVeelz.

Refex Green Mobility is expanding in the country, especially its Refex eVeelz branch. It had fewer than 500 vehicles in May and is expected to reach 2,000 units by December 2024.

The fleet includes some Tata Tigor vehicles, but most are Citroën ë-C3. The small French car is very popular in the country, especially for transport fleets.

Three competing companies of Refex eVeelz have already ordered a total of 7,000 units. Refex aims to stay competitive and offer more and more rides in electric cars.

Customers can choose a ‘zero emissions’ vehicle when requesting a ride. With a 29 kWh battery and a range of 320 km according to the Indian homologation cycle, the city car is becoming increasingly popular.
