With a sleek design and impressive features, the Maxus eDeliver7 aims to compete with European rivals in terms of performance and style. Join us as we head to Bordeaux to test drive this appealing electric van. The promise: a contemporary design, a full tech package, satisfactory range, and versatility in utility. So, does it deliver on its promise?

The Maxus eDeliver7 Look: A Stylish Van

At first glance, the Chinese electric utility vehicle seems more refined than its larger sibling in the lineup. The Maxus eDeliver7 draws inspiration from the aesthetic codes of popular models like the Ford E-Transit Custom and the Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo. The LED headlight design, stylized grille, and overall clean lines give the van a modern look. The rear lights have a sleek, modern signature. Overall, the design and finish of the van are impressive, except for minor details like the alignment of chrome lettering at the back.

The van is available in two lengths (4.99 to 5.36 m) and two heights (1.99 to 2.39 m), offering various load capacities. Our test model, the L2H1 version, features sturdy sliding doors and high-quality rear openings. The interior of the eDeliver7 boasts leather elements, a comfortable multifunction steering wheel, analog gauges, a responsive touchscreen, and a range of tech features including a 360° camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and ADAS for safety.

Onboard: Matching the Competition

Like other Stellantis utility vehicles, the Maxus eDeliver7 offers a comfortable interior with premium materials and high-tech features. From leather elements to advanced safety systems, the van delivers a rich driving experience. However, the touchscreen interface can be overwhelming, requiring users to navigate multiple menus for simple controls. Despite some ergonomic issues, the van comes packed with safety features and modern amenities.

Performance: A Reliable Van

Powered by a 150 kW electric motor, the eDeliver7 accelerates up to 120 km/h. The van is responsive on the road, offering a smooth driving experience. With a maximum payload capacity of 1,020 to 1,200 kg, it’s well-suited for urban deliveries. The van’s efficiency is evident, providing a range of 325 to 425 km depending on driving style.

Consumption and Range: Up to 542 km?

Equipped with a 77 or 88 kWh battery, the Maxus eDeliver7 boasts an urban range of up to 542 km per charge. In practice, the van delivers between 325 and 425 km depending on driving conditions. The van supports AC and DC charging, allowing for quick charging up to 80% in 43 minutes with a 90 kW charger.

Maxus eDeliver7: Starting at €41,990 HT
