Groundbreaking Hybrid System

The Lexus LBX is powered by a new generation of the brand’s “self-charging” hybrid system. Completely redesigned to improve efficiency and reduce energy losses, it features a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine. Paired with a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery, the electric motor contributes significantly to the car’s performance, offering a combined power output of 136 hp/100 kW with a maximum torque of 185 Nm.

With the Hybrid System Control, driving is optimized by synchronizing acceleration with the engine sound. Thanks to advances in the hybrid system, driving solely on electric power is possible at higher speeds and over longer distances. In WLTP mixed cycle, the fuel consumption is rated at 4.3 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 100 g/km.

The Lexus LBX also offers a wide range of driving assists through the Lexus Safety System+. Pre-collision safety system, dynamic radar cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic road sign recognition, and other features ensure the safety and peace of mind of drivers.
